Biography

Dr. Andrew L. Pecora is the founder and executive chairman of Cota, a healthcare technology company that enables the optimization of clinical outcomes for every patient and reduces the total cost of care of the population served. Dr. Pecora also serves as the Vice President of Cancer Services and Chief Innovation Officer at Hackensack University Medical Center, and both founded and served as President of Regional Cancer Care Associates. Additionally, Dr Pecora currently is Professor of Medicine, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, and Professor of Oncology and Medicine, Georgetown University. Previously, Dr. Pecora co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Progenitor Cell Therapy, L.L.C.; and co-founded and served as Chairman of Amorcyte, Inc. Dr. Pecora holds a BS from Seton Hall University, an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and completed internship and residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Cooperating Hospitals System and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
