Biography

Orla is a technology and licensing attorney whose practice focuses on advising clients in intellectual property and transactional matters. Orla represents a wide range of clients in a variety of transactions, including licensing and collaboration agreements, joint development agreements, supply and distribution agreements, services agreements, sponsorship arrangements, and other strategic commercial agreements. Orla also regularly advises companies in advertising, promotions and copyright matters, privacy compliance and data security. Before law school, Orla worked for the economic division of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs in Washington D.C. and Dublin, Ireland. Orla gained significant experience in government relations and negotiations. Orla also received a Masters in International Relations while living in Dublin and served as a summer clerk for Justice Paul Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
