This session – featuring a physician, a clinical trials operator, and a technology provider – will focus on the latest advancements and technologies that help with patient engagement, such as learning about molecular profiling tests, obtaining medical data, and finding the right clinical trial.

Frank Ingari joined Cure Forward as CEO in 2016. Frank has served the consumer, healthcare and information technology industries for the past 35 years. He has held CEO appointments at NaviNet, 5-Star Medicare Advantage plan Essence Healthcare, and Best-in-KLAS Value-Based Care Service Provider Lumeris, which Ingari co-founded. As CEO of Navinet, Ingari was instrumental in driving strategic growth for the nation’s leading healthcare technology supplier of payer-provider collaboration solutions, culminating in a sale to NantHealth in January 2016.

Biography

Dr. Bauer joined Sarah Cannon and Tennessee Oncology in 2012, and since that time has grown his practice with a heavy emphasis on phase I clinical trials; he serves as the principle investigator on numerous of these studies. Filling a much-needed niche, he is the primary resource to the oncologists of Tennessee Oncology for consultation on molecular results and available clinical trials based upon those results, as well as emerging technologies in the personalized medicine field.

Biography

Bernadette Tosti is the senior director and global head of Patient Recruitment Programs in QuintilesIMS’ Site and Patient Networks organization. She brings nearly 15 years of healthcare marketing, clinical trial recruitment and retention, and digital recruitment technology experience to this role. In this position, Ms. Tosti leads a global team focused on supporting QuintilesIMS’ clinical research business including all sales, operations and functional delivery components through patient recruitment services including project management, strategy, digital, creative, editorial, and medical writing. Prior to this role, Ms. Tosti served as director, Business Development for QuintilesIMS’ Health Engagement and Communications team where she managed relationships with key pharmaceutical and biotech customers and developed the direct opportunity pipeline for clinical recruitment, retention and patient insight projects. Earlier in her career, Ms. Tosti held a variety of patient engagement and recruitment positions with increasing responsibility at QuintilesIMS, inVentiv and Veritas Medicine. Ms. Tosti is an industry thought leader and speaks regularly at industry conferences and webinars on the impact of patient recruitment and retention solutions on clinical trial enrollment performance.
